The Cycling Federation of the Balearic Islands suggests different routes to go cycling around the area starting from Can Picafort:
CAN PICAFORT – ATALAIA DE FORMENTOR – CAN PICAFORT
Can Picafort – Port d’Alcúdia – Port de Pollença – Mirador de Formentor. Once you have reached the top of the mountain, turn right in order to go up 2,4 km more until you reach the Atalaya. To go down, take the same route and finally take the ring road.
CAN PICAFORT – CALA DE SANT VICENÇ – CAN PICAFORT
From Can Picafort, go towards Alcudia through the MA12 and from there go to Puerto de Pollença through the Ma 2220. Once you are halfway there, turn left and continue along the Ma 2202 towards Pollença. When you get there, take the Ma 2200 towards Puerto de Pollença and after a few kilometers, turn left (Ma 2203) towards Cala Sant Vicenç.
To come back, take the same road and go towards Puerto de Pollença. Then take the Ma 2220 to Alcudia and next, the Ma 12 to Can Picafort.
CAN PICAFORT – FARO DE CALA RATJADA – CAN PICAFORT
Depart from Can Picafort to Arta (Ma-12) and at km 10, turn right onto the Ma-3322 to Manacor. When reaching km 3.5 turn left towards Sant Llorenç des Cardassar (Ma,3323).
In Sant Llorenç take the Ma-15 to Arta. Once in Arta, go towards Capdepera and when you are about to leave the village, turn right (Ma-4030) to go to Son Servera. From there, go towards Capdepera through the Ma-4040 and then to Cala Ratjada.
Go to the Faro and take the Ma-15 towards Arta. Finally, from there go to Can Picafort through the Ma-12.
