S’Albufera Natural Park is located in the municipalities of Muro and Sa Pobla. It is a protected natural area which is made up of different environments with both flora and fauna. Birds are the most notable and appreciated group, composed by 268 species. We can also find 28 species of fish, water snakes, dragonflies, and more than 300 species of moths, among others.
There is free entrance to the Natural Park of S’Albufera and you can follow four different routes either by walking or by bicycle. You will come across different points of interest, which can be found in the IBATUR webpage.
The route of the excursion to get to the park is as follows:
-You will start at the door of Xara and continue along the Pol·lentia Street until you reach the port, where you will take the C-713 road and continue until the km 1,7.
- Then, take the PM-60 during 717 metres and afterwards take the Corneli Àtic route during 665 m.
- Leave the Corneli Àtic road and continue through the C712 for 4 km. Once you reach the “Pont dels anglesos”, you will have already arrived to the main entrance to the park.

Furthermore, you will be able to enjoy the Spa and Fitness area of the JS Sol Hotel and JS Miramar of Ca’n Picafort, after a long day of excursion. In Playa de Muro, near from Parque de s’Albufera you’ll find JS Alcudi-Mar.
