Thanks to its privileged geographical location, Porto Colom is an ideal place to practice all kinds of outdoor activities such as cycling or hiking.
Therefore, we propose several hiking trails which will lead you to some of the most emblematic places in the area:
THE ROUTE OF THE MONASTERIES:
We will depart from the equestrian centre of Son Menut in Son Negre (Felanitx) heading towards the Monastery of Montision, accompanied by a guide and a coach. Then, we will proceed by visiting four monasteries which also date from the XIV century: Sanctuary of Cura, Sanctuary of Banany, Chapel of Santa Lucía and Sanctuary of San Salvador.
PORTO COLOM – CALA SA NAU
We will depart from the pier of Porto Colom in the direction of Cala Marçal. Once there, we will take the road to Cala Nau, where we will continue along the coast of Cala Estreta, and finally, Cala Nau, where we will be able to take a bath.
PORTO COLOM – CALA MURADA
We will depart from the pier towards the old port. Once there, we will take the road in the direction of s’Algar and once we are in Es Riuetó, we will pass a barrier situated on the left hand side. We will continue along the path until we find the main road, where we will turn left and keep on walking until we arrive to the beach.
The JS Cape Colom Hotel is located on an impressive cliff. There you can overview the Mediterranean Sea from any part of the hotel. It offers a complete Spa Center where guests can relax after a long day of hiking. The JS Es Corso Hotel is another great option if you prefer to stay in the very heart of Porto Colom.
